I just installed since the sites forum is down to test after 30 posts

your install file is messed up I have so many errors just on the edit files
no problem I took care of it on my board

my big question is where do members of my board access the battle
in the insulations there was no changes to the nav bar to point users in the right direction so I can't add that to the board

when i do that it just refreshes the screen and does not load rpg

You can add the links to your navbar yourself.
I didn't include instructions for that because users have a choice between creating a dropdown, or a "second navbar".

but I went through it all but going from vers4 to final I get this error

also the system is not working when I put the code in the nav bar and you click it it just reloads the same main forum page

And about the navbar problem - I obviously have no idea as it's either your own written code or someone else's.

got the navbar thing fixed but when you click on and thing it tries to load the php file but it is just a white screen could this be due to the fact that the upgrade failed?

That may be. Perform the upgrade as per the thread I linked you to, and you should be fine.
