The latest version of AWS has just been released, v. 3.4.0.
Starting with this version, AWS is capable to support non-standard (per vBulletin) management groups. In other words, you may now define which group(s) your admins belong to, which group(s) your super moderators belong to, and which group(s) your moderators belong to. You may use groups totally different than the ones vBulletin has originally set up for these roles.
Another option was also added. If you want, you have the option of saving the Warning notifications that are send either as PMs or e-mails to warned users, in a predefined forum in your board. This was requested by a user and I find it a worthwhile addition.
