Can you guys please take a look at my site www.talkandmore.net and tell me how I can make it alittle narrower??? When being viewed at 1024 by 768 there is a slight scroll of about 1/4 of an inch...
Someone told me it is my image based navbar. Can I take all the buttons and just make them each a little smaller?? Will this fix the problem?? If not what else can I do to fix this???
I also have another problem with the header when the site is being viewed at higher resolution. It does not go the full width of the page. How can I fix this as well??
Thanks,
Rich

I don't really think I'm qualified to answer this :P, but I'll give it a small, perhaps newbie'ish try...
In your Style Manager, and in the style you're using, there's something called StyleVars in the dropdown list. If you take a look at Main Table Width (pixels or percentage) you could try putting a lower number there...
Don't know how that works with a portal layout though...

Thanks for trying to help Julieh.... That setting changes the size of the fourms etc but it doesn't change the size of the backround, header or navbars....
Thanks though,
Rich

After viewing the source of the page I can see several areas that may be an issue. If you want contact me via IM and I'll help out.

I think I can handle it but thanks...
I just went in and changed the width on a few things to 99 percent instead of 100 and it seems much better....
resizing all the images did nothing....
It is really not a big deal but I had a couple bring it up to me so I thought I would see what I could do...
Thanks,
Feel free to give me advice here if you wouldn't mind..

It'd be pointless trying to answer this question when you have an even more serious issue. There are still millions of users worldwide running at 800 * 600 resolution and if you switch to that resolution see the horizontal scrollbar you get then :)!

Yes, I have seen that problem also..... How can I address these issues without having to pay somebody?? Can I have some free advice please??? lol
Jesus Christ..... I have probably shelled out more than a grand here and nobody can even answer a question for me???
Is that what it has come to here???
I thought the forums were to share info???
