do u have cpanel on your server m8 if so u can do a complete site backup that way and even download your databases though it.

Im positive phpmyadmin wont touch your database at 35 megs - but 35 megs is quite small for a database and nothing to stop you from loading it into a text editor such as Ultra Edit and cutting and pasting sections into phpmyadmin and then running each section seperate.Had to do this a few times myself in the past and it works.

Failing that get your host to dump your database in the root and then download it.That way you will know you got a good copy.

if u are using 35 megs on your server then it dont mean that your dataabse should be 35 megs in size m8 as the actual vb folder uses space up on the server so this all counts to the actual size.

if u need any help setting it back up - am willing to talk you though it.
