Is there an additional hack or some code to put in to make it so the Thief action is not just random?
I saw on another forum they had it where the user would pick a number from 0-5 and if the number matched then the thief was successful.
Any tips on how I can do something like this? I have looked all over the place and havn't figure this out.
Isn't that still random tho?
That said, can someone explain how the theif is done? It appears that rep has something to do with it, but Im not good enough at understanding code to know what it means.

It's still random to an extent but it's better than a 50/50 split on random. This would make it so the thief has to attempt to steal it, and if they are wrong it doesn't work.
Numbers are 0-5. If the server random number is 3 and you guess 2 then you fail. It would also be nice to send a PM to the member that was robbed or attempted to be robbed and let them know who it was and how many points.

But it isn't totally random, that was the 2nd part of my post. The person's rep has something to do with it, but I don't know what. To view the theft, the person just has to view the history, but hmmmm...
There has to be some simple function in vB to send a PM. I like that idea. Must... look... around... good idea.
Still interested in this idea? I finally got it working, thanks to the guys in this thread...

If you can't follow that, I'll post exactly what I did.
