I have one of the archive hacks but cannot get it to work after moving to a new server.

Apache/2.0.40 (Red Hat Linux)

mod_mime is installed:

/usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_mime.so
/usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_mime_magic.so
/usr/local/psa/admin/libexec/mod_mime_magic.so
/usr/local/psa/admin/libexec/mod_mime.so
/var/www/manual/mod/mod_mime.html.en
/var/www/manual/mod/mod_mime_magic.html.en

I also checked if its being loaded in the httpd.conf:

less httpd.conf |grep mod_mime
#LoadModule mime_magic_module modules/mod_mime_magic.so
LoadModule mime_module modules/mod_mime.so
# The mod_mime_magic module allows the server to use various hints from the
<IfModule mod_mime_magic.c>

and this is in the .htaccess:

<Files topic>
ForceType application/x-httpd-php
</Files>
<Files forum>
ForceType application/x-httpd-php
</Files>

Yet if i go into any of the section, it returns the dreaded '404 Not Found'.

Am I overlooking anything obvious?

Thx

Sure .htaccess files are allowed?

I would think so. I changed the content and that made the whole archive no longer work, so it is reading it
