i was recently looking at some vBadvanced-run sites, and camea across nymfans.com (http://nymfans.com/), and the front page layout is awesome. it is exactly what i am looking for for my minnnesota vikings fansite
(The Vikes Rike (http://thevikesrike.tk). Does anyone know how I could even begin to get something like this?
Thanks for any responses

It's all in the templates and style settings ;)
If you know a bit of HTML, that shouldn't be a problem.

im fairly skilled with HTML, but I have no knowledge whatsoever of PHP. If I created an HTML layout such as that, how would I incorporate the vBulletin phrases into it?

I think they used the same cmps page the rest of us use, but for like the images on the right side, they probably took away the top bar and the outline of the blocks. That would be done in the html of the individual templates that you turn into modules and add to pages (you know, the adv_portal_ templates).
Very neat layout, I am not very creative when it comes to websites.. maybe I'll work on something like that in the future.

You can see bascially what they did was they arranged modules in very good positioned and then removed the borders of the tables to make it look very clean.

Hey!
Was searching Google and came across this post. I own and operate NYMfans.com.
Yep, vBadvanced, with TONS of PHP and HTML modifications.
