My Postbit Is Giving Me Trouble

I'm working on a TEST forum (vb 2.3.5). Anyways, I created a new postbit but the $post[avatar] is not working and neither is the $post[signature]. It doesn't display anything.

I do have a avatar selected and a signature. They just won't display.

I reverted my postbit template and it still won't work. I don't know what's wrong. Thanks in advance, hopefully someone can help!

Have you edited the php files themselves then?

Yes I've edited my php files, but not since the problem occurred
