i tried installing the who was online today hack and for some reason it didnt work, so i have basically reversed it all and im getting the same parse error except its just pointing to a different line number

after finsing some missing lines and putting them in im getting this parse

BUT i only have 367 lines not 368

Seems you installed a hack and left part of it out.

if you kept a back up of the file reupload it then try the install of the hack again.

As modin originaly stated you could post 5-10 lines before and after line 367

well sorry i didnt know you couldnt post full vb files.... i havent seen anything anywaywhere that i cant do it

ok well i tried re-installing the hack i tried doing, and i get this

but the file has 423 lines not 424 but heres the end of the file

If you uploaded the original file you should not have any problems O.o

ive sorted it now

seems everytime i uploaded the original, another admin tried fixing the problem and was uploading the messed up file

lol yeah bad other admin... he messed it up from trying to install a hack for his first time :-\

btw is there any hack that allows me to upload several template files at once? instead of me having to make them one by one?

lol, I usually tell my other admins to not touch anything without telling me first :p

it can be one of the most frustating things, glad you got it sorted :)

As for your template hack, I haven't seen one but someone else may have...

i dont need the upload hack thingy now... i did them manually... but i cant get any custom vB/BB code working now :(
