Thread is closed, but people can still reply?

How come i can click on the CLOSED button and still post and it lets me. I know the thread is actually closed so thats not the problem.


Oh....the Quick Reply also lets me post in a closed thread

People which have the permission to open/close threads can reply to closed threads

Are you sure? I never could in 2.2.8. Was that a new feature for 2.3.5?

Hmm, i think it came with 1.1.6 you might have overlooked it maybe, but it's rather an old setting...

as you can see in a standart 2.0.0 newreply.php:
