I have 2 boards that I would like to share the same user DB. They both have access to the same DB server.

Is there a hack that I could not find (searched for: share user, shared user "share user", "shared user", share account) that would allow me to share the user DB?

Thank you

You purchased 2 licenses for VB, right? Orelse you cannot legally do this...
You can share 2 user databases, is the same way like you want to share another software (HiveMail, PhotoPost) with VB.
I would recommend you to open a ticket at vb.com and let any of the support team post here letting us know you have 2 VB licenses.

wee... Ok I have been full circle. I came here becasue support forums at vb.com said to come here... you guys tell me to make an official support request... the official support request told me to come back here :)

This requires modify the code, (i.e., 'hacks'.) We can't offer official support for code modifications or for forums running modified code. But we do have a hacking site and forums, however, with people that may be willing to help you with this.

Please visit http://www.vbulletin.org/ and ask for help there in the appropriate forum. You will need to register on those forums and enter your forum email address on this form in order to get access to the hacks:

So...how do you integrate two vB's into one database?

Could you have both forums use the same database using different prefixes with perhaps a small mod that replaces the variables for 2nd_forum with those for 1st_forum?

(just thinking aloud here)
