vBulletin attachments are stored in the DB, are they not? I don't see a problem.
On that note, I've been brainstorming alot in these past days w/o a PC.. I've got alot of notes, so once I get my PC back up and running, you all should be pleasantly suprised. :)
good point about the attachments, i hadnt thought of it like that.

EEEK!!!!!!
Ok, I dont really know what this means but I just installed Erwins Microstats hack and my Garage Page shows this:
Page generated in 0.13469 seconds with 36 queries (3 queries for uncached templates) [Server Loads: 1.70 1.49 : 1.42]
Is this bad??????
Anyone?

ok well while people are waiting for 3.2 maybe can we discuss the impact of storing all these images in the DB. is this a concern?? is the size of the DB going to be greatly affected by this and will it hurt mysql performance...i really love this hack and i have played with it quite a bit already but this is something i am worried about.
although i read through 746 posts and didnt see any problems.
Just a thought, from the AdminCP, you could try switching to the option of storing your attacments into the file system rather than the DB. I am doing that on my testing forum and is working well so far however, I have not installed this add-on yet. But when I did it, it reduced over 50% of my DB size.
(I only really stumbled into this hack today so if thats the way it already stores them, forgive me, as I have not yet worked my way through the complete install directions or thread) :)

How is 3.2 coming along, will it still be released?

Whew... 51 pages was a lot of reading.
Ok, I came up with some questions during reading, some got answered some didnt or I may have missed...
- Will the future release be searchable by the vB search?
- Would it be possible for admins to create new garages for site users who dont have an account? I ask because I am bringing in all my sites current owners galleries into the vB DB but as of now am doing it with a modified style and making the section so that only I can create these gallerys. Could the same be applied to this?
edit: Sorry one more thing, you mentioned a few pages ago that the next version will use the vb attachment system. Do you forsee any issues with those of use who currently use the option to store attachments in the file system rather in the DB?
I installed this current version on my test forum and with one or 2 tweaks I found in the thread, like it very much and will install this on another, much smaller forum I own. I look forward to the upcoming release!
Thank you very much Magnus!

Its lookin good, like how every members page has a random picture! :)
Does anyone know if he's still putting the search feature in? Where it will let you brows cars by like V6, V8, year, heavily modified, lightly modified, and so on? I think that should still be incorporated in their. Because when a garage gets thousands of cars, the cars in the middle aren't going to get viewed and stuff. lookin good so far, Is it still going to have the rating system you were talking about?
keep up the work!

how to make it IMG code enable in the garage thing?
I don't know why it said off now.
.
2 steps required:
1. Edit your vbgarage.php file
Find:
$data['text'] = parse_bbcode2($data['text'],'0','0','1','1');
Replace with:
$data['text'] = parse_bbcode2($data['text'],'0','1','1','1');
That will enable the IMG tag.
Step 2:
You need to edit the vb phrase
"vbgarage_text_desc" to say "IMG code is ON"
That should be all you need to do.

I know what your talking about, but its not what i'm talking about... unless I missed this somewhere...
i'm talking about 1 entry in the userCP for "edit your car", not 2. 1 php file with both timeslips and garage entries. And finally reworking the users profile page so all info for their cars + forum info is on one page....or not...
and SVTOA, i applied your mod, it works great :) thanks!!

Has anybody upgraded to vBulletin 3.0.1 with VBGarage running?
I'm still using 3.0.0 & because I've made some changes to VBGarage, along with installation of the games Arcade & post since last visits hack, I have been waiting for a time when I could spend a few hours to fix everything back up if needed.
What are the main files I should overwrite to get me to 3.0.1 without too many dramas?
SVTOA
05-12-2004, 11:13 AM
I haven't upgraded while the vbgarage was installed on 3.0, but I have two sites with vb garage, one is 3.0 and the other 3.0.1 and I have not run into any problems of any kind. Since this is mostly template driven, you should not have any problems with upgrading.

I'm having problems with the thumbnails. We recently migrated to another server and I did mysqldump and then an import for the transfer. Now, the Thunbnails show up as red X's but when I click on them I get the actual image. I don't have much experience with images stored in a database, is this a common problem? Solution?

I had the same problem, its the servers GD version. This hack requires GD 2.0+ Since you said you changed servers, and just transfered everything. The server is the only difference in your site, so I'm almost positive its the GD version.
hope this helps

Hi
Ive been working on hacking my garage a bit and am having problems trying to include the profile feilds under the users garage.This would make it easy for users to view the garage and the users profile :surprised:
I can have the memberinfo template data show but the links are broken or missing the user ?=23 id at the end of the url.
When i include the member.php file in vbgarage it will display the users info but i also get broken images for the latest uploads and garage images,and or it displays an error saying the user is not registered and has no profile to view when i call vbgarage.php?do=listgarage :ermm:
Can someone tell me if im on the right track,
How can i add the profile infos under the users garage,
thanks

I have the same issue, if you click on the red x - The image comes up full size.
Now, I have GD 2.0+:
GD Support enabled
GD Version 2.0 or higher
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled
Direct from PHPinfo.
If I take the path that the server is giving me for the thumb directly and input that into the address bar I get a document can not be found error message (500). Now, what is wrong?

Well i dont think the problem you have is GD,
Are you trying to include the profile feilds to be shown in the garage?
Another idea? :nervous:
to allow users to post a message to the forum when they update their garage,
if you run the jukebox hack there is a similar feature to announce songs.

I'm having some issues with my thumbnails. They don't show, but when you click on them the pictures does come up correctly in the popup. I contacted my hosts and they said they support GD 1.6.2 or higher.. So I dunno, I've been looking over it but I can't figure it out. :ermm:

Yeah... but you need GD 2.0 or better for the thumbnails to work...
I don't think you're following what I said. I emailed my host:
"I need at least version 2.0 for this php script I want to run"
They replied:
"We do support php GD Library version 1.6.2 or higher."
So that would lead me to believe I can run script that calls for 1.6.2 or higher, ie. including 2.0.. But then again who knows.. the host is Xeran. :speechless:
Odoin

No I am 99% sure your hosting provider only supports GD 1.6.2 not 2.0+ like you need. Alot of new things in 2.0 that were not in 1.6.2. I am not a huge linux guru so there is room for error :P.

I LIVE! :) (well, sort of)
UPDATE (05/17/2004):
I've got my new PC up and running (for the most part.. damn thing is quirky, but such is life). v3.2.0 seems to be running strong, and I would consider it release worthy. However, I still haven't got a DB converter. You're existing database will not work correctly with v3.2.0.
Yes, I realize this is a problem.
It's not that it's incredibly hard, it's just that my SQL skills aren't quite up to that level yet. So, if anyone here knows SQL well enough -- and would like to help -- shoot me a PM.
As it sits, I can probably release v3.2.0, however, until there's a conversion script, there's really no "upgrade" available (unless you want to do all your entries by hand -- which I seriously doubt).
While I tried to get as much stuffed into v3.2.0 as possible, the demise of my PC was an unfortunate setback. So, at the moment, v3.2.0 really only offers multiple garages and slightly more efficient SQL (both of which have been tested).
While I do have vBulletin's internal thumbnail processing working, I'm not quite sure I want to include it in v3.2.0 yet (which still remains untested, for the most part).
I don't want anyone to think I've abandoned the project, I assure you, I haven't. I do have ALOT of things going on right now (working on getting a new job, which may require me to relocate to New Jersey), so I don't have the same time I used to. This in no way means I'm not going to release new versions or not fix bugs. It just means it might take longer than it has in the past, unfortunately.
But, for the time being, what I *really* need is a SQL guru to whip up a conversion script. :)

Hey, while you are all on the topic on a new version, here's an idea for you (I hope this was not already mentioned in the 54 pages of replies! :) )
How about a "Car of the month/week/day" option. I believe this would be (somewhat) simple to do. For example, have a cron job run once a day that checks the setting. Then it randomly picks someone to be the car of the week. Then, their car's thumbnail image is shown in the navigation bar, next to the user name info.
Then the visitor could click the icon and it would take them either to the vbGarage home page, or the users vbGarage profile (admin selectable) for more info.
BTW, I love this hack, it works great! :)

Yeah this would be nice to incorporate into a voting thing that we were talking about. Each week members vote and the voter with the highest votes gets car of of week and featured on the forum homepage. Then it resets each week or something, not a bad Ideal man!

What is the system not doing on these and how do I correct it. It's a great mod, but if it's half working like this it isn't that valuable to me.

Have you made any changes to vbgarage.php? Upload is working on the rest of your system no problem?
Now it just flat out refuses to upload images at all. Instead, it waits for about 5 seconds and spits out this error:

No, no changes to vbgarage.php at all. I even re-downloaded it last night and re-uploaded it to make sure it wasn't something silly. This totally has me bummed because members are trying to upload pics of their cars and instead are getting red x's. I don't have happy members right now.....

I'm sure you could right it up to display movies... However a big issue that comes to mind is the storage of the movies. Currently all images are stored in the DB and movies can become very large... It would suck to have a DB a few gigs in size :). Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Here's an idea... Why can't we just have the script upload each picture to a file... Say (/uploads). And then it can reference those pictures and keep the database tidy. I'm not a fan of filling up a database server with pictures - That's crazy and not what it's meant for. I know it can be done - And if I have to.... I guess I'll re-engineer the image script to do so...(Nothing against the creator).

We used to get like around 5 new members a day, since I put that up, were only geting around 1, if that. It takes sometime to load with my high speed cable, just to think what the people with the 56K or even the 28K are thinking.
Thanks to whoever responds! Need this removed ASAP! You guys be the judge, does my boar load slow because it has to wait for the images to download? www.muscle-mustangs.com/forums

No -- it was a yes to changing every instance. Mostly I think you have to change the phrases ---

Sure, here's the (basic) code -- you'll need to modify it, of course, to suit your needs. Here is the code for the Year dropdown:
In VBGARAGE_EDITGARAGE:
Find:
<input type="text" class="bginput" name="year" size="4" maxlength="4" value="$data[year]" />
REPLACE with:
<select name="year">
<option <if condition="$data[year]==2002"> selected</if>>2002</option>
<option <if condition="$data[year]==2001"> selected</if>>2001</option>
<option <if condition="$data[year]==2000"> selected</if>>2000</option>
etc ..
</select>
You can obviously use this for the other fields as well, just be sure the <select name="foo"> variable matches the <input name="foo"> variable you're replacing.
Regarding this template, I am doing it for the Year and Make field. I did the year first, and while I can select my appropriate year, 1994, and it will display properly as 1994, when I go into the Edit MyGarage, the Year field is showing the oldest option (in my case, 1979 or Older). How can I get it to highlight and show the year that I've previously specified?

hi magnus, remember me?
lol
i still have my copies of 1.0.
hey man, i'm good to go, i gather, the new version is ready to roll out....... but how do i duplicate the auto-installed templates across all my styles?
i can do the stardard template editing by hand for each (like navbar and whatnot)
but it seems as thought it would be quite the pain to make a vbgarage_commentbits, etc for every style by hand.....
for some reason, it only installs on the last style (styleid 12), and none of the others get the templates.
hopefully this makes sense, it's 3:23am.

Well, I'm going to finish coding it in about a month, right now only the admin part in the CP is done, so I'll come back then and update you guys and maybe put up some code for download.
To answer the wysiwyg editor question, it looks like a lot of code, but since it's just recycled vB3 code, it wasn't hard to implement, mainly just cut and paste, with a little fixing and customization.
The code:

You should put a ranking system, so users can vote monthly on who has the best car. This way, the one with the highest votes will get car of the month!
flat6
05-24-2004, 01:36 PM
That's a good idea. Currently what I'm doing with votes is... well, when you add a car, the site automatically starts up two new threads with the user's account, a logbook and a guestbook, for each new car added. The guestbook's Thread Rate has now been replaced with Car Rate, so that that the thread where users comment on the car actually holds the votes for that car. I'll probably have to bring it out further, make it its own button accessible from outside of the actual thread.

Multi garages per usergroup

Holy Geeze, I'd pay for that setup. Where can I sign?
We went through loads of formats for our YaBB enabled vGarage, the conclusion we came to in the end was to give the user 4 basic fields, manufacturer name, model name, engine size (cc's or cu's depending on your boards users), 'but i'd sell it for...'(the dream price someone would part with their car for), with 2 textarea boxes, one to list modifications, another to describe the car, then with the obvious photo upload stuff.
This was by far the most popular arrangement of vGarage for the users, the fixed capacity/model name/price fields made it easy to organise the cars, while the textarea for the description and mods fields allowed them to go into as much or as little information about the car as they liked.

I have this problem as well. Here's what I found out, and this happens for all hacks that I have installed where templates are automatically added.
Most installers will add templates only to the styleid 1, because normally that is the default style. However, by some sort of issue in my conversion to vB3 from vB2, my styles appear like this:
vBulletin 3 (styleid 2, parent style)
- Default (styleid 1, child style)
- Black/Grey (styleid 3, child style)
So, when it adds the templates, it only adds them to one child style, and not the parent style. That is why normally my styleid 3 never has the templates, and I have to upload them manually.
Your best plan of action is to edit the installer file and change the styleid in there to whatever is the parent styleid in your forums.

thanking you in advance.
Simply make the necessary template edit to the navbar template of each style that you want.

Thanks,

I am having the same problem he is having. everything works except the thumbs don't show, only red x's and I do have GD 2.02 so I have no idea why it wouldn't work. It even stats in my vbulletin admincp my GD version is 2.02
Version of GD installed on your server. You can find the version by searching for 'GD' on your phpinfo() output. Likely GD Version : bundled (2.0.22 compatible)
So why doesn't vbGarage work for me?

Custom Garage BB Code
There's been a lot of call from my members to allow them to post their images, in full size, via a simple BB code, so here's my solution.
Create a new Custom BB Code, using the following replacement code:
<img src="/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id={param}" border=0 />
I named my tag Garage, but you can use whatever you wish.
To post an image the user is required to enter the image ID number in between the tags. An example, using the image ID of 27.

Hope this may be of some use.

I know that when i select the 2nd image for upload i hit "upload" and it just sits there then reloads the page but no second image is showing up......its doing this with all my images! any idea what the deal is?
Also i would love to be able to add additional cars and maybe some preset questions about the car...... could we do that?

I managed to make this work so here is how if anyone else runs into the same problem:
My guess was that uploads were failining due to the fact that my service provider is using SAFE_MODE. Looking at the file upload code of vbulletin I did the following changes to vbgarage.php:
Look for
$name = $_FILES['src']['name'];
$data = addslashes(fread(fopen($_FILES['src']['tmp_name'], "r"), filesize($_FILES['src']['tmp_name'])));
$type = $_FILES['src']['type'];
and replace with
// make up a temporary name
$tmp_name = 'vbupload' . substr(TIMENOW, -4);
// check file exists on server
if ($vboptions['safeupload'])
{
$path = $vboptions['tmppath'] . "/$tmp_name";
if (move_uploaded_file($_FILES['src']['tmp_name'], $path) AND file_exists($path))
{
$filename = $path;
}
}
else if (file_exists($upload))
{
$filename = $_FILES['src']['tmp_name'] ;
}
$name = $_FILES['src']['name'];
$data = addslashes(fread(fopen($filename, "r"), filesize($filename)));
$type = $_FILES['src']['type'];
Now... this worked with my server that uses SAFE_MODE. I am not sure it will work if SAFE_MODE is not used, I haven't tried it!

Your server could have been on the receiving end of a load spike at the time, however, if it's happening all of the time, then there may be a problem.

I think what happened is that he got fed up with people who can't read or follow directions. And he's not the only one. There is a new "major addition" added in the other forum, written by a very well known coder, and I had to chuckle when I read this in his install instructions:
"As always, I'll happily give support for real problems. However, a lot of the time people ask questions about things which have already been answered hundreds of times. If you have a problem caused by not reading through the instructions or checking through the support thread, I can't guarantee a response."

Zilvia - that is a code change from vB 3.0.0 to 3.0.1... go to vb.com and read the announcement for 3.0.1 it will tell you the relevant templates that changed, you will need to revert then re-modify them. It sounds like you are missing the userid that is now part of the logout links (which one of those links is in the navbar)...

Magnum was cool enough to send me his copy of this hack when it was still in version 1 stage.
As it is , with the attachment in this thread, I was able to install within 3 mins on a hacked vb3.0.1 board WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS.
I am very much certain that most of the problems faced, AS USUAL, is due to people installing the hack and not reading the instructions carefully enough and missing out steps that are rendering the hack unworkable.
I have begun work on my own modified version of this hack for my boards, have just gotten multiple items per user working.

Can someone help out a vbgarage rookie??? I am really interested in this but not sure how well this is going to work for my setup. First thing that i'm a little unclear on is this whole GD 2.0 thing. It's my understanding that there is some sort of GD built in to PHP 4.3. If that is the case, how exactly do I get that set up or how do I test it. I know that in admincp where it has the image verification stuff I have that turned off because I don't see any images. So apparently it either isn't working or isn't installed. Other than that is there anything else that I would need to do??? Is linux required for any of this??? Sorry for the ignorant questions but I would really appreciate any info anyone could give me.
Thanks.

hey there, Just installed this, working great.
I imagine you have answered this question before, with almost 1000 posts in this thread, I got lost. :)
My question is that I run a dog forum, so how can I change vBgarage to something like 'vBDogHouse'...and how can I change the text fields that are defaulted at make, model, year...etc....to something like "Number of dogs you own, breed, names, age, etc"
Thanks

I need a little help, I hope this hasn't already been posted...
I started to install this a while back, then ended up upgrading my vB to 3.0.1... so now when I try to run the install, I get this error message---
Database error in vBulletin 3.0.1:
Invalid SQL:
CREATE TABLE vbgarage_images (
`vbgarageid` smallint(6) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment,
`userid` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL default '0',
`name` varchar(50) NOT NULL default '',
`data` longblob NOT NULL,
`type` varchar(50) NOT NULL default '',
PRIMARY KEY (`vbgarageid`)
) TYPE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=1
mysql error: Table 'vbgarage_images' already exists
mysql error number: 1050
Date: Thursday 17th of June 2004 09:45:41 PM
Unfortunately, I can't get past that to finish the rest of the install... how do I do it manually?
LOL I've read the install.php, and I see the queries, but I don't know exactly what to do with them, or how to tell which ones I need?
You already have the neccessary tables created, as well as the phrases, settinggroup/settings and templates when you first installed it on vb3.
Does it not work in vb3.0.1 after your upgrade that instigated you to try to run an install for it again ?
edit : woo just realised this got HOTM for May. Congrats Magnus :D

Everything seems to work (except that I haven't put it on all the styles yet, I don't want everyone to see it til I'm sure it's right)... only thing I KNOW is wrong at this point is that it doesn't show up in the admincp-- vB options, so I can't check who can upload how many pictures, that kind of thing...
I don't want to adjust all of the picture names, either, til I'm sure... :)
It's highly likely due to your upgrade resulting in replacing/overwriting the old php files.
This hack required a few file edits, ( ADMINCP/USERGROUP.PHP, INCLUDES/INIT.PHP ) so you may have to readd those file edit changes before it works again :)
Everything else *should* work fine. :)
Hope that helped.
maggie
06-18-2004, 06:57 PM
I started over from scratch after the upgrade, and added all the file edits... you sure it doesn't sound like it left some tables intact, and won't skip past the "done" ones to one/some that got changed by the upgrade or something?
There were file changes in the vb3->vb3.0.1 upgrade in init.php but i doubt it will affect this hack.
I installed this hack on 3.0.1 direct without any problem.
Do you have access to phpMyAdmin or something to view your current database ?
If so, check to see if the following tables are there :
vbgarage_users
vbgarage_comments
vbgarage_images
If they are there, your tables are fine.
Then go to the Settinggroup table, check to see if u have a 'vbgarage' entry.
Go to your settings table. check to see if u have the following entries :
vbgenable
vbgcomments
vbgmaxupload
vbgmaxfilesize
Hint: sort by varname in desc order, so these should be listed first.
If these are all there, there shouldn't be a problem of you as admin not having the option to give access to vbgarage to specific usergroups in your admincp.
maggie
06-19-2004, 02:09 AM
LOL Ok, I downloaded phpmyadmin, now I'm thoroughly lost! :o Guess I have some reading to do, before I know what tables I have... :D

Oops! Yeah, they do, I was looking for it in the wrong place... :)
I don't see anything in the settinggroup about vbgarage, though?
maggie, then create a new row for it :)
In your phpMyAdmin page, click on the SQL tab.
Input this in the box :
INSERT INTO settinggroup (grouptitle, displayorder, volatile) VALUES ('vbgarage', '650', 1);
And click go.
If properly queried, you should now have a settinggroup 'vbgarage'. :)
maggie
06-20-2004, 02:21 PM

vbgmaxfilesize
still aren't in my settings...

This hack is installed and working great except for one small bug. When a member enters a description of their vehicle, it saves, but does not display in the description box for some reason. For example, this member has a ton of information listed, but none displays: http://forums.livingwithstyle.com/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=504
Help please?
Could it possibly be due to the field for description being too small ?

Anyone have any ideas?I figured out what was wrong. I thought GD was working because the thumbnails in my main board still appeared. But vB creates a thumbnail and stores it unlike vBGarage which creates them on the fly.
So my GD library was not installed when Apache was updated.
Simply reinstall and everything works fine.

Hey guys. I installed this hack and i am trying to customize it. First of all i am Running VB 3.0.0
So i cant figure out how to add the link to the nav bar as the Readme file is for 3.0.1 and they are different.
Anyways that is not my Problem! When you click on the Thumbnail of a picture it pops up a new window with the full size picture. Well I wanted to know how to make that a defined size! like right now it will open an image that is bigger than my resolution!
Thanks,

But i still dont know about the navbar.
Can anyone help with an install to 3.0.3
In includes/init.php when adding the 'can vb garage' edit, the numbers at the end match the 'can see hidden custom fields'.
What do i change one set of numbers to?

Is there anyway to make it so the images that are upload be uploaded into a different database than my VB database? I can keep all the tables and stuff on my vb database thats not the problem.
But From your Vb admin panel if you optimize/repair your database (clean it up and save some room). It makes the images appear as Red X's again. So i wanted to have them in 2 seperate databases that way i can still optimize my vb database.
Thanks,

I had it working on vb3.0.0 it was working great ( the users loves it )... but now after i up greade to vb 3.0.3 the Hack is not working properlly...
This is a great Hack someone has to Upgread it to work with the new VB 3.0.3
it's really sad to see a great hack like this one just stops upgreading :ermm:
i got it working. If its a new install of the garage i couldnt get it working.
If its already installed, and you're upgrading your forum do this:
The includes/init.php file already has a value assigned to it by vb in the latest upgrade.
The 'caneditownusernotes' => 131072
now has another line underneath it in vb 3.0.3
In the includes/init.php where you're supposed to put
'caneditownusernotes' => 131072,
// START VBGARAGE HACK
'canvbgarage' => 262144
// END VBGARAGE HACK
and thats it for that part.
Now you will need to put:
'caneditownusernotes' => 131072,
// START VBGARAGE HACK
'canvbgarage' => 262144,
// END VBGARAGE HACK,
Then change the value of 'canseehiddencustomfields' to 16777216
so that it will now look like this:
'caneditownusernotes' => 131072,
// START VBGARAGE HACK
'canvbgarage' => 262144,
// END VBGARAGE HACK,
'canseehiddencustomfields' => 16777216,
I havent much experience with this stuff, but this was the only way i could make sense of it to get it to work.
If someone has a correction or a better way, please post and let us know.
Thanks.

i'll try that
but this is what i did
it was like this'caneditownusernotes' => 131072,
'canseehiddencustomfields' => 262144,
now i did it like this
'caneditownusernotes' => 131072,
'canseehiddencustomfields' => 262144,
'canvbgarage' => 524288,
nothing really changed
I still can't see VBGarage on the ACP , all the post the user made on the pic are gone plus you cant add any new posts .. in the Edit vBGarage u can't upload pic anymore
There is already a value ther for what you put in. 524288 is further down in the init file. You must have a unique number which is the number i put in my post.
I neglected to say that i repeated the install step as far as the first step only to the template step and then i had to repeat the final steps of the directions on the hack installation instructions.
This is what i had to do - i tested it first on my own computer that has a server running off it for testing. it worked for me. It may not work for you. If you wait for a few hours someone might be able to point you in a better or simpler direction.
Good luck with whichever you choose to do.

After upgrading to 3.0.2 it seems that the tables for setting and settinggroup were recreated. At least the vbgarage options were no longer in them.
Here's how we enabled it again.
Backup your DataBase First!
edit init.php to this...
// Reputation
'canseeownrep' => 256,
'canuserep' => 524288,
'canhiderep' => 1048576,
'cannegativerep' => 2097152,
'canseeothersrep' => 4194304,
'canhaverepleft' => 8388608,
// START VBGARAGE HACK
'canvbgarage' => 16777216
// END VBGARAGE HACK
);
This leaves the vB options in their correct places.
Next run these five queries to repair the vbulletin option menu. We did it in phpmyadmin and do not have table prefixes, if you have table prefixes you must edit the table names.
INSERT INTO settinggroup (grouptitle, displayorder, volatile) VALUES ('vbgarage', '650', 1);
INSERT INTO setting (varname, grouptitle, value, defaultvalue, optioncode, displayorder, advanced, volatile) VALUES('vbgenable', 'vbgarage', '1', '1', 'yesno', 10, 0, 1);
INSERT INTO setting (varname, grouptitle, value, defaultvalue, optioncode, displayorder, advanced, volatile) VALUES('vbgcomments', 'vbgarage', '1', '1', 'yesno', 20, 0, 1);
INSERT INTO setting (varname, grouptitle, value, defaultvalue, optioncode, displayorder, advanced, volatile) VALUES('vbgmaxupload', 'vbgarage', '6', '6', '', 30, 0, 1);
INSERT INTO setting (varname, grouptitle, value, defaultvalue, optioncode, displayorder, advanced, volatile) VALUES('vbgmaxfilesize', 'vbgarage', '200000', '200000', '', 40, 0, 1);
All of the queries are from the install script.
Good Luck.
