Trying to print username in another app

I've tried everything to get the username to show up in the user field for a recipe app.

Your problem is non-vBulletin 3 related, and also not a request for a hack.

General PHP questions should be posted in the PHP / MySQL / JS / HTML (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=15) forum.

As for your problem, it's hard to make anything out in that file since the PHP, SQL, and HTML is scattered together, but are you trying to show a vB user's username?
