hi,
i am trying to upgrade my photopost gallery and have made a complete dogs dinner of it, basically i have not got a clue as to wot to do,
I uploaded all the new files via FTP/SSH (was this right???)
I then ran the upgrade file but now all im getting is this error :disappointed:
Could not connect to PhotoPost databaseAccess denied for user: '@localhost' to database '-_gallery'
arrghhhhhhh - wot am i doing wrong?? :disappointed:

You would have better luck posting this in the photopost support forum.. (over at photopost.com ?)
It looks like you selected a user who doesn't have access to that MySQL database. Confront your MySQL settings page in Cpanel (or whatever) for further guidance.

aye i would but they have still to validate my account on the forums and thats after numerous emails- photopost customer service is imho not too good :disappointed:

check the settings in your config file.

We don't validate users - you validate your account by clicking on the link provided in the email sent to your account. With like 130,000+ users on the TechIMO/PhotoPost sites it would be a serious pain if we had to validate all users.

sorry MPDev -i'll look again at the email but when i go onto the forums it comes up
Your account has been activated but you are currently in the moderation queue to be added to the forum.
am i doing something wrong??

It did take me a day to get approved to post over at Photopost.com. BUT since being approved I find the service is really good.
