Has anybody here ever worked with a CMS called Typo3? Seems excellent to me...

It is excellent :)
It is hard to install and configure but it is IMHO the best choice when you have a lot of pages.
check out: www.alfisti.net (framebased because it is not easy (impossible?) to integrate own big php projects)
