if a hack author updates his thread, do we still get emails?

GQ = General Query btw, maybe an idea for a new section :)

I'd say no, not unless your subscribed and have selected to get notifications.

The option to send updates for hacks isn't there any more unfortunatly.

if it was for the store hack, mod application or even the awards hack, it really don't work as i never got anything lol

So it is there, I'm sure it wasn't a couple of weeks ago when I looked for it *heh*

In my experience it never worked very well and allways timed out on vB2.

It did timed out by me as well, that's the reason why not all the users received the email, like with 'sabret00the'.

Xenon, i think it's better to cut it off. Select 50 people and email them, then a 'next' link with the next 50 people etc etc.

well i recieved every testmail, there was a little problem, when using the build int mail function of vb, which i found out a bit to late ^^

it should work since the last upgrade i made, but, as emails are cached in vb3 now, you won't get the mail immediately :)

(i have had to wait around one day to get em ^^)
immediately sending is impossible due to timeouts..

It's not working, like before.. i end up with a sociable 404 page and only those who are on the beginning list were emailed.

hmm, it seems, 1.4k Queries when using vbmail() were too much *gg*

i've completly rewritten it now, and i think it works now :)
