The access for other users was restricted not to interfere with the service itself. I think the admins and mods should refrain from posting what is not needed.

Like Mists post
May I just say that there is a similar hack suited to your needs in the Beta Hacks forum
Which is the latest example, I believe mods and admins have access to that forum to provide support and to clear up any issues, and not to converse. If that is to be allowed, then I think access should be given to all users so we can post helpful hints and such in that forum as well.

Just a thought

We agree that generally we shouldn't, but for important information such as clarifications, we have an obligation to help for everybody's benefit. :)

I agree with Keptic - staff should NOT post in the Service Request forums. If Staff want to tell the user there is a free hack out there, just PM the user, like everyone else. If the person wants to pay a professional for a custom hack, let them request it. If the staff wants to tell them, PM the person, or email him or her.

I agree like I said in the first post that mods and admins CAN post to tell them to post more details or clear stuff up, but like other stuff.

Thanks
