Something is wrong with my database. Twice now it has gotten corrupt and what it does is it cuts off like the first 4 letter of each word, and then the dates and times get corrupted.

I fixed it by restoring the template table from a backup...

I also have a new skin I bought that I want to add, I want the images to be in their own directory. The name of the skin is Integro and I made a directory called Integro which contains the images.

I go to that skin in the style to change the images directory, I type Integro and save changes, I go back and look at the images directory and it is gro. The Inte is cut off......

So basically my images aren't showing up with this new skin, I think my database may be corrupt in some way.

Can you guys help? Thanks in advance.

The 4 letter part is a php bug, ask your host to upgrade.

More specifically it's a problem with the mbstring library (IIRC). What's more, if your host still has that bug, then it clearly doesn't have much of an interest in staying up to date, especially where security is concerned, so I'd consider the adventure of finding a new host.

Upgrade PHP on your server. :)

well I switched hosts, the new one is great, but now whenever I make change to the general board setting thru the admin panel, my template table gets all screwed up and I have to restore it....

any ideas? it shows 0 users online and it shows the date as 2003 and nobody can log in.
