View Full Version : Where is $onlinestatus in the PHP files?
I'm trying to make it so if you are an admin or super mod then the $onlinestatus is set to "Admin" or "Super mod". But I looked in the showthread.php file and couldn't find onlinestatus being set to anything.....could someone guide me please?

It's in the big mess that is getpostbit() in functions.php and is derived by the templates postbit_online and postbit_offline.
Ok, this is what I did. I replaced
eval("\$onlinestatus = \"".gettemplate("postbit_online")."\";");
} else {
eval("\$onlinestatus = \"".gettemplate("postbit_offline")."\";");
}
with
if(usergroupid == 6) {
eval("\$onlinestatus = \"".gettemplate("postbit_admin")."\";");
}
eval("\$onlinestatus = \"".gettemplate("postbit_online")."\";");
} else {
eval("\$onlinestatus = \"".gettemplate("postbit_offline")."\";");
}
But I end up with an error. Please help me out.
EDIT: It doesn't give me an error. It just doesn't do anything. I guess it ignores the if statement?
if ($post[userid]!=0) {
unset($onlinestatus);
if($bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == 6) {
eval("\$onlinestatus = \"".gettemplate("admin_post")."\";");
} else if($bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == 5) {
eval("\$onlinestatus = \"".gettemplate("smod_post")."\";");
} else if($bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == 7) {
eval("\$onlinestatus = \"".gettemplate("mod_post")."\";");
} else if($bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == 2) {
if ($post['lastactivity'] > $datecut and !$post['invisible'] and $post['lastvisit'] != $post['lastactivity']) {
eval("\$onlinestatus = \"".gettemplate("postbit_online")."\";");
} else {
eval("\$onlinestatus = \"".gettemplate("postbit_offline")."\";");
}
if ($post[avatarid]!=0) {
$avatarurl=$post[avatarpath];
} else {
if ($post[hascustomavatar] and $avatarenabled) {
$avatarurl="avatar.php?userid=$post[userid]&dateline=$post[avatardateline]";
} else {
$avatarurl="";
}
}
}
That's my code now. Only one problem. If I'm logged in and I'm an admin...EVERYONE's onlinestatus is set to admin....why?
