Is there an easy way to view the linking structure of the vB database?
I'm new to vB and mysql and I'd like to see how the database is put together so I can start adding tables and my own stuff.
I have phpmyadmin but didn't see an option there.

In the support section of the Members section of vbulletin.com (http://www.vbulletin.com/members/support.php) there is a relationship diagram that might be helpful to you.
