reading from SQL

Hi all..

I did some coding on my board. Now I have a extra option in the "Edit Options", a yes/no (1/0) radio type. this works good, it saves it in the MySQL.

Now I want to use this options yes/no in the template "headinclude". but I cant find a way to do this because I don't got that much experience with php, but I will do my best to explane it..
I want it to do nothing if it's selected no, but whem its selected yes I want it to show a image..

How can I do this??
