Moving Members and Posts

I installed a new forum along with the VBPortal. I want to transfer my my current members and posts to the NEW forum. How do I do this? I've NEVER done this before and I'm scared of messing up. Thanks

you have to make a dump of your user userfield post thread and forum table and then upload it to the new db.

with phpmyadmin the upload could get a timeout most of the time if you have a great board.
search through the php forum to find the telnet solution :)

I've never done this before and I have no idea what information I supposed to dump in my user userfield post thread and forum table.
