PHP Help!

[Graphics]

Hey I need help with this, I'm using the hack that allows you to use PHP in templates. I'm trying to create two separate welcomepanel views depending on wheither you're logged in/out.

I get this error when logged in and the panel doesn't show.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/virtual/site139/fst/home/staticnetwork/public_html/forum/admin/functions.php(1195) : eval()'d code on line 8


Also when logged out I get no error but that panel still doesn't show.

Here's the code that I'm unsure about. This is contained in the forumhome_welcometext template.

Looks like you misspelled echo a few times.

You made this mistake twice in the above code. Make sure you replace both instances of it.

I am not really sure. Try reading http://www.faqts.com/knowledge_base/view.phtml/aid/1/fid/40 and the comments below the definition/explanation located at http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.echo.php . Those pages seem to clarify the differences as well as advantages/disadvantages. By now, you probably know that I personally use echo instead of print.

Yeah, I do, seeing the Battle System. I think there are only slight differences between them anyway.
