is there a hack to hide admins posts

hmm, you can install logicians hack for conditional templates and take out the postcounter for you :)

how do I do this can i not simply edit a template in admin so my post aint shown :)

no, it would always require hacking, because conditionals cannot be in templates

you can also wait for vb3, then you can use conditionals in templates w/o hacking
