MYSQL wont restart.(Please Help)

Hiya Everyone,

Im having trouble restarting MYSQL as normal .....when I try to access the http page it gives an error saying:

"Warning: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket .../mysql.sock' (2) in ..../db_mysql.php on line 38"

this is urgent, any help would be much apreciated. thanks :)
