Having a database error

I backed up my database 2 nights ago and then my retard friend deleted the database, with the information i backed up can i restore the database to the way it was 2 days ago? I read the manual on vbulliten.com but i dont understand a word of it. Can someboyd tell me what to do in easier terms?
