SQL Error

I know this question has probably been asked here before, but I couldn't find the answer. Can anyone please tell me what this sql error means and is it anything to worry about?

Database error in vBulletin :

Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

mysql error number: 2002

Thank you, sir. It is weird. I had about 3 or 4 windows open that were connected to my site but no one else was on. It went away after I refreshed. Probably just a freak thing. :)
