need help moving the database to another server.

Forgive me but I am a vbulletin and mysql newbie. I am moving my site to a dedicated server and need help moving the database. My forums are only a month old and the database reads only to be about 25mb's in size. I am willing to pay if anyone can help me, email me at rich330@txol.net ,

Go to your Admin center, and back up the MySQL database.

Then save that file, and use phpMyAdmin on your new server to execute the query.

that sounds simple enough but I have never run a mysql query and really do not want to screw this up. It was hell enough to get the database configured initially, even the vbulletin tech had his problems getting it up. Thanks for the advice,

If you have phpMyAdmin, I suggest using that.

Otherwise, I can help you with installing it on the new server, if you feel comfortable with that.
