Recently I've upgrated my PHP to 2.2.4 and now my sessions are not working corectly. Before upgrade my session was saved and after reloading the browser it was the same but after upgrade there is new session id every time I reload the browser even if there is no session_destroy() in code... :(

PHP configuration :

session
Session Support enabled

Directive Local Value Master Value
session.auto_start Off Off
session.cache_expire 180 180
session.cache_limiter nocache nocache
session.cookie_domain no value no value
session.cookie_lifetime 0 0
session.cookie_path / /
session.cookie_secure Off Off
session.entropy_file no value no value
session.entropy_length 0 0
session.gc_maxlifetime 1440 1440
session.gc_probability 1 1
session.name PHPSESSID PHPSESSID
session.referer_check no value no value
session.save_handler files files
session.save_path /tmp /tmp
session.serialize_handler php php
session.use_cookies On On
session.use_trans_sid 1 1

Can anyone tell me what's up ?

I believe that once you close the browser the sessions are deleted it does that with my server and always has.

I remember well that after closing the browser and reopening the session id was the same :|

So - the other way to save session id is to store it in the cookie ?

well it so happens that i have closed a browser window and then opend it within a 30 second time and it was the same session id... but I am not to sure using a cookie would work.. there would just be another cookie and a new session.

Hmm - I'll solve this my way : I'll store session_id in the cookie (also instead of url session id)
