Thread counts...

Can someone please tell me how to set my thread counts on forum home to what is actually in the threads? In one forum I have a 4 thread count on forum home but there are only actually two threads there. I have deleted 2 threads but shouldn't it reflect the change? I tried the update counters in the admin cp, but it hasn't changed anything. Is this normal?

Update Forum Counts should do the trick. If it doesn't, and you haven't hacked that part of the system, you have a problem you need to troubleshoot.

I tried updating forum counts again and no change. As far as hacking that part of the system, I'm not sure what you mean. On troubleshooting, any good suggestions where to start or what to do? I'm clueless on this one. :)

There isn't a problem after all. The threads I thought were missing were there all the time. I forgot about the viewing option of last 30 days and so on. The threads were older than 30 days. Sorry for the confusion. :)
