View Full Version : Is This Legal...?

This is a direct post towards FireFly, PPN, tubedogg, and any other administrative power of vBulletin's official scripture here.

I recently added a new section to my site, Final Fantasy Republic. It runs like a vBPortal, however it's not. What i've done was make the entire site, template based (through vB's template system), and use the same coding (w/ global.php) includes to work along with each page.

I feel that it is legal, because as i've reviewed the vBulletin.com FAQ (LINK: http://www.vbulletin.com/faq/sales/index.html#21) and as long as i've kept the "Powered by vBulletin, etc.." then i'm fine. Also, the other scripts seem more like a hack for my site to work with the database and my forums, in which I created entirely by myself. I'd also like to point out that I do carry a legal vBulletin board around with me -- Admins, Mods, etc will be able to tell.

NOTICE: If this is at all in anyways illegal, please respond so in this topic. I will remove whatever is deemed as illegal ASAP.

Thanks for your time and input.

Sure that's perfectly legal.

Glad to hear from you FireFly. I've been wondering for sometime, so i'm extremely excited that it's finally off my back.
