I need to reset up my e-mail, and would like to use open source products where possible. Is there any recommendations for web-based clients (PHP preferred so I can integrate easily) and open source server.

I've looked at QMail, but I'm still questioning clients.

A good mail server and good web-based mail client. I figured I'd ask here since people are familiar with such systems. Feel free (mods) to move it to a more appropriate forum if there is one.

I have used qmail/vpopmail/courier-imap with squirrelmail on several servers. Works like a charm when you get it configured correctly.

PHP can be compiled with a vpopmail-extension, which makes it easy to do managment from php.
