Sorry I tried to find how to change it but I didn't see anything that would work with 4.2.*
I'm trying to make the editor buttons align to a single row rather than 3. It's just a styling thing.
Does anyone know what file, template or script to edit to remove the <br> in the code?
Also, any mods to turn off or hide buttons completely like all the (Table formatting buttons). Turning them off in the CP just grays them out but can still be seen.
Thanks.

Ok I figured out how to hide the Table Buttons. Still looking for a way to put everything on one line. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Thanks, Mark but for some reason, it doesn't work for me 4.4.2. I can't activate the plugin at all. I tried removing a few buttons and clicked to turn it on and nothing. It says settings saved but doesn't.

That's ok. I figured out its just a bit of code in the group config for ckeditor but I can't seem to find in on the server, templates or phrases.
Do you know where "toolbarGroups" is defined?

Ok, I found it.
forum/vb/ckeditor.php.
Look for $toolbar[] = '/';
