Hi,
I disabled user registration from vbulletin 5.2.6.

What I need is to get users from another mysql db.

Vbimpex seems doesn't work in vb5.

How can I load users from a csv file or something like that?

Can I insert users with php (mysql query)?
Which are the tables involved?

I'm upgrading from vbulletin 4. There were datamanger API to programatically adding and editing user. I don't mind writing code, but I can't find any API of the like for vbulettin 5.

I had to manually write my own converter from wordpress + bbpress. It took a few hours but i can be done.

The "user" table is pretty straightforward, remember to also change the token.

In my case the tricky part was to generate and update also the nodes and closures tables, as i also imported content (threads and posts). If you only have to import the users you should be set with only the "users" table, if i recall correctly

If you're upgrading from vB4 to vB5 then all data will be imported automatically including all user data.
