plugin upgrade.

Hi to all,

Some days ago my forum got an upgrade from 3.8.8 to 4.2.3.
Now it seems I have to upgrade my plugin to 4.2.3. aslwell.
I have no knowlage from computers at all and don't understanding anything from the abbrivations that I can see on many forums about software for forums.
So I hope there is someone who is willing to help me to find answers to a few questions.
1. what is the function of the plugin, at the moment it is switched of and the forum seems to work.
2. Can someone give me a direct link were i can find a download to make an upgrade to 4.2.3?
3. Can someone tell me if it is difficult to make such an upgrade?
Any help will be highly appreciated!

Unfortunately there's no magical tool to do this and the only way to upgrade plugins is to upgrade the code manually. If you can't do that then you have to look for someone to do it for you.

In case the plugin also makes use of a template, the template will have to be ported over to vBulletin 4 as well.

Dave is right (as usual :))...and sometimes porting a product from vB3 to vB4 is relatively easy, and other times it can be pretty time consuming, depending on the nature of the code.

Can you post a link to the vB 3.8.x product to which you are referring?
