Mobile: Expanded Forum View vs Contracted Forum View

By default the mobile view of our forums is showing all of the sub forums, which means our readers have to scroll past 700 sub forums to get to the bottom.

How do we contract the sub forums, so that all we see are the main forum categories?

you could probably write a plugin to do that. If it is a vB5 forum, then I really don't know. Either way it involves modifying the code which is something you should ask for help on over at vbulletin.org, the modification site.

Does anyone know of a plugin that does this or can confirm the suggested code edit will work?

I'm gathering all of this data for our programmer this weekend, so he can implement the fix Monday morning. We will be very appreciative to whomever helps guide us through this process.

On my vB4 forum, the mobile theme doesn't display sub-forums. It gives me an option to display them when I click on the "spoiler" looking link. Post a screenshot of what your looks like.
