Hidden profile field description on registration page?

A few users as of late say they didn't know how to answer a question on registration in mobile. I just checked on mobile and it strips the description of the required field. How can I add the description back to it so users know what the question means? It is the only field where the description is really needed in order to answer.

I tried playing with the registration template on mobile with no luck. Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks.

Try the following:

1. Are you using the default mobile style that comes with vBulletin or is it a custom or modified style? If its a modified style I suggest you try making the original default the default and try again to see if that corrects it if not then try the next...

2. Disable the plugin/hook system globally in the config.php. To do this you will need a HTML editor like Dreamweaver or use NotePad. DO NOT use MS Word or Word Pad.

Global disable: open your includes>config.php file and find:

and under place:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Save and upload again to your server in the includes directory.

If you find that it works after disabling the plugins globally then re-enable the plugins by putting // in front of the code so it looks like this:

//define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Save and upload again.

Then you will have to go through your mods one by one until you find the one that is causing the conflict.
