Hi,
VB 4.2.2
I am trying to create a category in my forum - A top level forum which will have sub-forums.
When I first install VB there is already a top-level forum/ category - 'main category' in which I can create sub forums and then each of those will have threads.
Maybe I am doing it wrong but looking at the options in the admin panel, this seems to be the way to add a new top-level category:
add new forum -> create forum with a parent of 'no one'.
The results of doing this:
I get a new box which has the same template as the existing top-level forum ( a blue header where the category/ forum name would go and below are the sub-forums). But. with the one I created, it has created my new forum as a sub-forum and the space where top-level forum name should go is blank.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks
