I am not sure why this might be happening. I have reached out to older members, and it seems that they are not receiving the password reset link. Thoughts on where to start? Thanks.

Start by looking at your mail app on your server. See if the mail is still sitting there waiting to be mailed. Also, see if you have a Mail Queue backlog (look on the front page of your admincp to see how many emails are in the queue).
Also, when you say Imported, do you mean via ImpEx? There are not automatic emails sent out after an import to the users. You need to do that.

Yes, Impex. What do you mean by the last sentence? Thanks.

I mean exactly what I said - ImpEx doesn't automatically send out an email to all your imported users telling them to reset their passwords. You need to email them. http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/impex_passwords?manualversion=40202500

I'm confused, when I imported from phpbb to vbulletin using impex, should it not have merged over the users email address? Thus if the user forgot their pw, they simply click on the send me a new pw link in vbulletin? Or am I missing something... thanks.

Ah, I thought you meant you thought it was sending out an email. So, you are saying your users are coming to your site and clicking the Forgot Password link and nothing is happening? If so, check your server and see if the emails are still on there needing to be sent. Also, check Maintenance > Diagnostics > Email and verify you are getting the email.

Stupid question, but where would I check on the server? Thanks.

That is something you would need to ask your host.
