threads do not display

i recently installed forum where i imported some threads and replies from a custom made script database
threads and posts are loaded to database but are not displaying

Did you run Maintenance > General Update Tools > Rebuild Thread Information?

You said you used a custom made script to import the threads, which tables in the database did you modify to import them? There was a thread here a while ago regarding importing posts and there were several tables that needed to be updated in order to import them.

i imported data in two tables node and text for content
and user table to import users

users are imported successfully after running maintenance
however threads and posts are not displaying even i run update thread information several times

i am missing a table insert for threads and posts ?

EDIT:
thread titles are getting displayed and when i rollover the mouse it popouts the thread content
however when i click on a thread link it displays thread title but not content

Running Tools.php -> Scan Content Tables helped me fix the issue

I have a similar problem. on the main page it says there are 4 thread, but when you click in to the category there is nothing there. I don't have the Tool.pjp listed anywhere

Go to Site Builder > Edit Page and edit the Activity Module and check the settings you have for it. Perhaps you have it set to only show threads that are less than 7 days old and the four threads in there are older than that.
