Version 4.2.2/Landing on wrong page

My host is working over time helping me get this sorted out.
It's landing on the activity page instead of the forum page. Is this something for the host to sort out or is it something I need to fix in the ACP? If I have to fix it, what needs to be done.
Be gentle please. I've been up all night.

You need to set the forum tab as the default tab in the Navigation Manager.

Once there click on the dropdown for the Forum tab and select Set Default. :)

Well that makes no sense at all. If you wish, you could PM me a admin account and I can look into it when I get home from work.

ive found that my site is doing the same thing on google chrome but works fine on IE, have no idea why
