I believe you would need to contact your host, and have them look into those, they are server side related.

Yeah, they had a data outage about 5 days ago and we our still receiving errors. Also errors like this:
Database error in vBulletin :
mysqli_real_connect() [<a href='function.mysqli-real-connect'>function.mysqli-real-connect</a>]: (HY000/2002): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

And have you contacted your host and showed them these various errors you are now getting?

Yes Lynne, but it's been going on for over 5 days now. I haven't checked error logs this morning though.

What did your host say when they saw the errors? Or did they not answer yet?

To be honest I had to use live chat yesterday! They hadn't answered the ticket in two days. All the errors seem to have stopped now. But they still haven't responded to my original ticket. This all started when they said this:
Hello,
This morning November 20th, 2013 at 10:37 AM CST, one of our data centers experienced an electrical incident which caused multiple servers to lose power. Although we have redundant measures in place to avoid any interruption of service, this particular incident did impact some customers and required manual intervention. Many customer services were restored quickly, however we are certainly aware of ongoing issues related to the event this morning.
Some of these issues may appear as SQL/Database related errors showing on your site and or server error logs. We are working diligently to repair these services and are making steady progress. There may be intermittent slowness due to various repair processes and file system checks. Please rest assured that we are aware of these issues and working through them as quickly as possible.
In the unfortunate case that you are still seeing issues please let us know, by replying to this ticket and we'll be happy to assist you. I urge you to please refrain from opening more than one ticket related to this issue, or reaching out to more than one support channel at a time (live chat, phone and ticket). The increased support volume from these repeated contacts does unfortunately delay our ability to address your concerns in a timely manner. We address all tickets and support requests in the order they are received.
We know how important your web presence is to you, and we would like to thank you for your patience.
Regards,
Adam Farrar

If the errors do not come back, I would go on with my life. They are putting out fires not answering emails, it can be expected. Is everything running okay at this point?

Yeah, and I wouldn't lose any sleep over it :D Everything is running sweet, even when I was getting 100's of database errors. I just thought some peeps on here might of known what was causing them, because Hostgator forum posts where telling me the issue had been resolved, and clearly they weren't...

I've been with them for three years now, and to be honest.....For a small forum like ours it's been the best yet, for the money ;)
