I've an error that apparently the PhotoPost people have no idea how to fix.
I'm running vB 3.8.7 with PhotoPost Pro 8.42 integrated. I've plugins disabled globally via config.php --- When I enable plugins - this is the error I see in the AdminCP:
Database error in vBulletin 3.8.7:
Invalid SQL:
SELECT * FROM cpsession
WHERE userid =
AND hash = 'd01b92c3f1753893441c6540b788db6a'
AND dateline > 1384300571;
MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND hash = 'd01b92c3f1753893441c6540b788db6a'
AND dateline > 1384300571' at line 3
Error Number : 1064
Request Date : Tuesday, November 12th 2013 @ 07:56:11 PM
Error Date : Tuesday, November 12th 2013 @ 07:56:12 PM
Script : http://testboard.***.com/forum/admincp/index.php
Referrer : http://testboard.***.com/photopostpro/showgallery.php?cat=4
IP Address : ****
Username : ****
Classname : vB_Database_MySQLi
MySQL Version : 5.0.96-community
Symptoms:
1. When plugins are enabled - I see the error above in the AdminCP and simply am unable to login to the AdminCP
2. When plugins are enabled - All members seemingly are logged out of the frontend and are unable to login.
Can someone please offer suggestions on how to fix this? Because honestly - I have no clue. Chuck at photopost, while being a bit of help through support ticket, apparently has no solution and cannot duplicate the error on his end.
So I'm in dire straights. Will appreciate any help.
Thanks!
J.

Did you try disabling all other mods and see if the error still shows?

Thanks for your response Ozzy! This is happening on a forum that had been hacked. The forum is basically a fresh install of vBulletin - so there are no other mods installed.
This is what Chuck from PhotoPost has told me:
It will take me some time to retroactively go back to vb3 which has been a dead product line and figure out where this query is being ran.
Invalid SQL:
SELECT * FROM cpsession
WHERE userid =
AND hash = '85cf9fb73722f1d4c8d298b2f173edb8'
AND dateline > 1383680329;
The error is because your userid is empty with the product enabled. In fact we have not released any vbgallery versions for over 5 years now for vb3. I will have to go download that older code and do a search in there code to determine what is the issue. I do not know why the vbulletin userid variable is empty and this is what needs to be determined.
He goes on (during email support tickets) to say that my best bet would be to install PhotoPost Pro and then import the data using the vBGallery to PhotoPost Pro import script, which I have done.
I just need to know what this particular database error is all about and how to sort it.
Thanks,
J.

Yeah - it's a paid modification. Although I think I have the PhotoPost Pro w/ vB 3 integrated all but fixed. The original database error is something that I'd like to fix, if only on any future projects with the same error. A learning process I suppose LOL
@Ozzy - I got your PM but am heading out on a break. I'll get back with a response later this evening or tomorrow afternoon, depends on how much beer is flowing tonite :P
Thank you guys for any advice you can offer!

Do you have a test site with that running, and showing that error? If so could you send me a admin account, and ftp info, so I could see what is going on?
No big rush on the PM, it's gonna be awhile before I open the site. :)

Great idea if she has a test site. I am very familiar with photopost, unfortunately I have gone my own path with the software so the last version I will own is v8.3.
I am wondering what storage engine type and if they are using Mysql or Mysqli?.

According to a post on The Admin Zone, this may be on the verge of being sorted.
Anyway - I've managed to sort the PhotoPost Pro install and Chuck helped with importing the data on the testboard. Tricky stuff. He used the same info I used for the import script. He could import the data. I couldn't. It's all too weird. I will be oh-so happy to call this project DONE! Hopefully tomorrow will see it completed.
It's been a headache and a half....hopefully sorted to completion tomorrow.:banghead:

Well - I do have a testboard -- The error was actually with PhotoPost's vBGallery modification... The error is still showing whenever vBGallery plugin is enabled. But I have it disabled for now and will likely uninstall it if my client wants me to...
I have been able to finally install/import data from vBGallery to PhotoPost Pro! There was an error in the script that when using special characters, caused the import script to fail. As a non-coder - I'm quite surprised I even figured that out, as Chuck from PhotoPost apparently had no idea what was going on LOL
Anyway - things are sorted guys. Thanks so much for your kind responses just the same. You can see the gallery running on vB 3.8.7 at http://www.rigwelder.com/rigweldergallery/ ;)

I'm using MySQLi for both vBulletin and PhotoPost Pro.
You said you're familiar with PhotoPost - I suppose that means you know vBGallery as well? If yes - have you seen such an error as posted in the 1st post before? I'm still curious as to why the error manifested and what a fix would be. But for now - it's only curiosity and not on a need-to-know basis as it was before I sorted the PhotoPost Pro import script issues.

Yup! Got it fixed.
Also just PMed you a little while ago ;)
Thanks again guys! Hope everybody's having a fantastic Thursday!
