Disable all your modifications and see if the problem still exists!

Which "thank you" mod is this, for future reference here on vbuletin.org. Thanks in advance! :)

Is this suppose to work on Version 4.2.2 ?

If not, do you have any ideas?

@tanzeelniazi never posted 'what thankyou' modification he was using. Sorry. :(

I am slowly moving one of my forums to v4.2.2 core code, maybe then I can reproduce this problem. I have only been able to reproduce a partial double posting problem, if I force my server into an overload situation on v4.2.0.

The only way we were able to stop the double posting was to disable the QUICK REPLY . Since then, we have not had double posting.

Try this (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=233234)
This modification is not required for vBulletin 4.2.x Onwards.
anyway, the issue normally comes from third party addons, or the skip errors line not being included in the config.php file.

You should also try enabling plugin compatibility mode.

The op never said what vb version they are using

And it's totally besides the point, since the addon you linked to will do nothing to solve the problem of the OP. It will just merge the double posts into one, not prevent it.

Once again:

That is not going to help, that mod is if a user actually makes two different posts, the issue the OP is having is when a user makes a post, it is made twice, the same exact post, it is a issue with Ajax, or a server bog down issue.
