Posts with images/urls disappearing?

From multiple users, I have been receiving feedback similar to this, "All my posts that contain links or images are being "eaten" and not posted. They just go kaput." or "I just did a post in a forum under and used links from photo bucket, but i don't see my post, yet it says I am the last poster. Help? "

I have triple checked permissions and know they are correct.

Any ideas?

It probably has to do with one of the mods you installed. Try disabling mods and see if it makes any difference. Have you checked moderation queue or something?

check logs for errors also mod logs

how else to get to the mod queue other than on the front page of admincp where it says "threads to moderate" with a link? when i click the link i get "Invalid Page URL. If this is an error and the page should exist, please contact the system administrator and tell them how you got this message."

no errors in the logs. i think it may be that i had not enabled bbcode for the main forum. that would do it as people usually use bbcode to post images. hopefully that's it.
