not getting thread notifications anymore

I stopped receiving new thread notifications a few weeks back. Not sure why.

I also attempted to diagnose the problem, and I was able to get the test email, but I am still not getting the thead notifications. I changed it to SMTP to get the email diagnostics to work, but I am still not getting the notifications.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

So, you originally had it set to PHP and if you ran the diagnostics, it didn't work. So, you changed it to SMTP and now the diagnostics works?

So, what changed on your server a few weeks back? Upgrade in any server software? How about upgrade in vbulletin?
