How to get mail notification of visitor messsages

Not sure if this is a setting in the admin, I cannot find one, but I would like to know if there is a function that will email a user when a visitor posts a message to them.

I do not believe email notifications from visitor messaging is part of the core code. I am pretty sure there is good thinking for that. Maybe a few of the "brighter" people around here can shed a light on the subject.

There is this MOD, but I cannot tell you if it still works with the later versions of vbulletin. There seems to be no real information after vb 4.1.12.

Unfortunately, I do not use the option, but I will start looking into it for the future.
