want to promote one usergroup based on postcount

hi :)

i have a promotion set up that promotes users to an additional usergroup based on postcount. i need this promotion to work for one additional usergroup only, not all users. i.e. - if user is a member of additional usergroup "A" AND has reached 1000 posts - they get promoted to additional usergroup "B" as well, so they would have both A and B usergroups. but if a member reached 1000 posts but is NOT a member of usergroup "A" - do nothing.

looked around, cant find a mod for this, thought id ask...
another question - is this functionality available in vbulletin 5?

Couldn't you do this by editing your promotion and setting the "Usergroup" field (at the top) to "A"?
