Folks-

I used to have a mod on my board that allowed the reader to view all messages posted within certain date ranges, which they could choose from a drop-down menus in the navbar.

I think it was just a template edit (but I'm not sure), and that it was done by building links with parameters on the end of:
search.php?do=...but I don't remember the syntax for those parameters.

Can anyone give me a hint?

Here you go this will find posts over the last two weeks, study the line and you'll see where you can adjust the days :)
search.php?do=process&replyless=1&searchdate=14&beforeafter=after&replylimit=0&nocache=1
