Change link of "post new thread"

I know in vb 3 there was the product "Edit New Thread Button"

within that mod there is instructions on how to add that to VB4, but this is for VB 4.0.2 and the instructions are a bit different now.

Ive tried to do it myself but end up messing the forum up.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make someone go to a "form" page instead of a create new thread page with the buttons?

As i could remove the post new thread, have the ability to add a new button which links to the forms ?

hmm... So theres no way of creating a new "post new thread" button or changing the link of the current one? :/

so what templates have you looked through to see if you could edit it? It would require simple HTML knowledge.

im not a html pro of anysort, but im guessing the place to look would be in forum display.

I only want it to show in certain forums though.
